HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Started HS playing career at Boone High School in Orlando, FL in 2006. Freshman year was apart of the 1st ever undefeated season (6-0) in program history: threw 4 TDs.
As a Sophomore in 2007, started on JV and got moved up to varsity and was apart of the schools 1st ever State Championship appearance (lost to Miami Northwestern). Junior year in 2008, lost a heart breaker to Sanford Seminole in the state semi-finals. 2009, transferred to Oak Ridge High School for senior year, finished 5th in Central Florida in Passing/TDs and 3rd in Orange County with 1,543 passing yards, 13 Touchdowns, and 3 Rushing TDs. Played in the East vs West All-Star Game and earned over 8 scholarship offers. Also, varsity lettered in baseball at Oak Ridge. Verbally committed to the University of South Florida under Skip Holtz, recruited by QB Coach Peter Vaas.

COLLEGE CAREER
Quarterback at USF (University of South Florida) in 2011-12 (Redshirt fall 2011) under Head Coach Skip Holtz. Selected to the 2011 Big East All-Academic Team. Played spring of 2012 then asked for my release to transfer.

Transferred to Webber International University summer of 2012. started as a red-shirt sophomore then tore left ACL in the spring of 2013 on the final play of the Spring Game on April 13, 2013. Red-shirt junior year moved to Free Safety, recorded a 55 yard Pick 6 vs Jacksonville University in 1st game of action after returning to full health from ACL surgery. Red-Shirt senior year, won the Sun Conference Championship vs Southeastern University 28-21 on November 1, 2014; finished 8-3 ranked #23 in the country.

May 12, 2016 signed 1st Professional contract with the Central Florida Jags of the arena 2 football league.

PROFESSIONAL CAREER
Central Florida Jags
Started the final 2 games of their season under Head Coach Ronnie Ghent. In those two games, threw 5 Touchdowns and rushed for another. Selected to the EIF PRO ARENA TURKEY BOWL ALL-STAR GAME in Georgia and won Overall MVP, throwing 5 Touchdowns and also receiving a TD.

Florida Tarpons
December 18, 2017 signed with the Florida Tarpons Pro Arena Team. Saw limited action behind Arena Legend Chris Wallace. Recorded the Tarpons longest rush of the season on a 28 yard run that almost resulted in a Touchdown vs the Austin Wild in a 50-20 win on May 5, 2018.

Trujillo resigned with the Tarpons on September 14, 2018 after the team moved into the A-League. The team later changed their name to the Lakeland Tarpons but ultimately folded in May of 2019.

Orlando Predators
On May 23, 2019, signed a Professional Contract with the Orlando Predators in the National Arena League under Head Coach Doug Miller. 1st game action, went 1/1 9 yards in a huge upset win over Carolina Cobras. The following week, came in and almost led a massive comeback vs the Massachusetts Pirates on Fathers Day weekend, throwing 2 Touchdowns and a 2 point conversion. My season ended in his 3rd game of action vs the Carolina Cobras after I broke right hand before halftime.

retired playing football on December 31, 2019.

COACHING/PROFESSION CAREER
Founder/Owner of a Personal Quarterback Training business (BTruQBTraining). Trains Quarterbacks of all ages with over 160 clients, which includes Deondre Francois (FSU), Deondre Johnson (FAU), McKenzie Milton (UCF/FSU), John Rhys Plumlee (Ole Miss/UCF), Tim McClain (USF), Woody Barrett (Auburn/Kent State), D’Angelo Fulford (Mt. Union), Jordan McCloud (USF/Arizona), Camron Ransom (GSU/McNeese State), Quadry Jones (UCF) and Casey Case (Buffalo). Sponsored by the nations #1 sports drink, BodyArmor & the worlds largest Christian organization; I Am Second.

Founder/Owner of BTru’s Advanced Quarterback Camp. Teamed up with Former South Carolina QB Stephen Garcia, Former Dallas Cowboys QB Quincy Carter, Former Miami Hurricane/Charlotte 49er Kevin Olsen, Former FSU QB Deondre Francois & McKenzie Milton and Former HOF TE Greg Olsen. Other coaches include NFL Free Agents Karlos Williams, Garrett Johnson, Austin Duke, Noel Devin and Ed Gant.

Former Varsity QB Coach and Head Freshman/JV Football Coach at Oak Ridge High School (2015-2019). Had 4 straight winning seasons but stopped due to focusing on more time with my wife & QB Training/Camp schedule.

Coach QBs at The ELITE11/Opening Regional Camps in Orlando and Miami (2016-Current). Coached some of the Top QBs in the country alongside some of the best QB Coaches.

Former QB Coach & Head 15U Coach for Rat Pak 7v7 (2016-2019). Won a Pylon 7v7 Championship in 2016!

Currently is a Co-Host for WDBO ((107.3FM)) high school football scoreboard show and Instructional P.E. Teacher at Oak Ridge High School.
