Coach Stroud attended and graduated in 2010 from Foxcroft Academy in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. In a span of only 18 total games as a starting QB between his junior and senior season, he accounted for nearly 60 total TD's during that span. He accrued 43 passing and over 10 rushing touchdowns He threw for a combined total of over 3,000 yards within those 18 games and rushed for nearly 1,000 yards in addition to this. He held both his school and Little Ten Conference's passing records for yardage AND touchdowns in a regular season (8 games). Coach Stroud was recruited by the University of Maine and served as a backup QB on the team for 3 seasons. He transferred to Husson University, Played QB lightly and ultimately switched to WR - was elected captain by his peers & would help lead the Husson program to an ECFC Championship Title in his senior season of 2014. The program went from having a losing record every year, to becoming the #1 program in the ECFC.

After graduating from Husson University with a degree in Nursing, Coach Stroud worked as an RN and volunteered as an offensive assistant coach for Foxcroft Academy from 2015-2017. Coach Stroud was not done with his QB career, as did not have chances to showcase his abilities in college with the right coaches. He was hired to play QB, and be offensive coordinator/QB coach for the Pforzheim Wild-dogs, a professional American Football Team in the 3rd division of the German Football League's. In his 6 month contract, he played in a 8 game regular season and was elected captain of the offense. He installed an offense, and implemented the offense from the field as he led the offense to victory. He and other imports brought the program its first ever conference championship win in the club's 20+ years of existence. He led the conference statistically in passing with over 2300 passing yards and had over 25 total touchdowns in only 7 games.

Having returned to America, Coach felt the calling to focus on healthcare and advance his degree potentially - he shifted towards intensive care and emergency room nursing for the following 4 years after his football playing career concluded following his '17 championship campaign. He was hired as an offensive coordinator for Hampden academy the fall of '17, and has been an assistant offensive coach with his alma mater the Foxcroft Academy program since the fall of '19. Coach Stroud shifted from healthcare full-time when he was let go regarding vaccine mandates, he opened "QB1nc." July of 2020 as a side business. He has thrust himself into this business full time as of October, 2022 and has never looked back or been happier in his life. He gets to impact his surrounding hometown youth and fill the void of lacking quality coaching that has existed in rural Maine since long before his playing days. Coach Stroud is most proudest that his record was guarded for over 11 years, until it was finally broken this past season by Coach Stroud's very first private QB client.
