PERSPECTIVE:
Graduating from South Side High School in the roughest part Southeast Side of Fort Wayne, to leading USF to our first ever undefeated Season, and playing in the #1 Offense in all of College Football my senior year, I have several experiences that have shaped me into the Coach that I am today. I have been the Starting QB and the back-up QB. I have played on the worst team and the best team, at all levels. By persevering adversity as well as the success, the life lessons have helped provide a vast array of experience and knowledge as to what elements are essential to mold a highly productive Quarterback. I also can identify the traits and characteristics that can lead to lack of production also. Throughout my career I have experienced season-ending injuries and how to overcome the mental frustrations and physical limitations associated with injury. I have played on teams where I have not been the coaches’ first choice, as well playing for coaches who deeply believed in me. It is with these experiences that I have been able to help many athletes. My experience is where I find my greatest value to aide athletes as they work through their own individual processes of growth and self-discovery. Perspective can be liberating and in fact career changing.
