Coach Colston opened the Gunslinger Academy in 2013. Since then, he has privately trained over 200 of Knoxville’s top gunslingers, helping them to reach their personal goals of becoming starters on their youth and high school teams, as well as obtain college scholarships! Before becoming a full-time coach, Tony played six seasons of Arena Football, where he led his team to a 2008 Arena Cup Championship! He also spent 10 years coaching HS football in Huntsville, AL and Knoxville, TN, where he served as Offensive Coordinator and QB Coach each year.

Tony graduated from Tusculum College in 2004 as the school’s most prolific passer, setting several school records and leading the team to their first ever conference championship in 2002.
