Coach Michael Frawley is the founder of New England Quarterback Academy (est. 2003) and has coached thousands of athletes through clinics, small groups, and private lessons across New England. He develops quarterbacks and wide receivers with a focus on leadership, mentality, fundamentals, mechanics, football IQ, and game-day confidence.

Michael was a multi-sport athlete at Matignon High School in Cambridge, MA, recruited in both football and basketball. Ultimately, choosing to play football at Bentley University (Waltham, MA). Transitioning into college, he found himself as a backup to a QB All-American. He made the move from quarterback to free safety—earning more playing time and gaining a defense-first perspective that elevates his coaching today. That dual perspective helps quarterbacks understand both sides of the ball—defensive responsibilities and offensive answers—quickly identifying who’s open.

After college, Michael was invited to work with the quarterbacks at Cambridge High School in his hometown, an opportunity that helped launch NEQB Academy. Early in his coaching career, the first quarterback he trained earned a full Division I Scholarship—setting the standard for NEQB Academy and the results the program continues to produce today. Over the years, he’s helped countless athletes earn QB1 roles, and many have gone on to play college football—including a handful who earned Division I Scholarships, with some going on to benefit from NIL opportunities.
