My family has deep roots in both college and professional sports. My dad, my mom, my aunt, my uncles and cousins all played collegiate sports (football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer and golf). Cousin, Two cousins played professional baseball. With that background, sports has always been a huge part of my life. My family has always stressed the importance of both academics and athletics.
