Dual Threat
Dallas, GA
Class of 2025
My name is Mason Bryant, I'm from a small town called Dallas Ga. I love my community and playing for my teammates and coaches. I wouldn't be anywhere in life if it wasn't for my support system. I'm blessed to put in great situations because of the great people around me. Playing QB can be flashy at times but I see it more as the glue that brings things together.
SIZE:
Mason has good size for a 2025 Dual Threat QB at 6'4" 205 lbs. Works methodically as he picks apart the defense. A quick hitting QB who wastes very little time getting the ball off. This QB can hurt you in many different ways. Dangerous accuracy, very difficult to defend. High release point with extended arm motion for a higher ball delivery.
ACCURACY:
He’s right on the money with his throws, it doesn’t matter if they’re made from within the pocket or from the outside. Very consistent throwing motion and footwork prior to setup.
ARM STRENGTH:
A strong throwing QB who can make all passes required of him. His short and intermediate passes include high velocity throws that get through the secondary in a hurry. Very good vertical passing game, able to extend the field with his arm strength.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery. Sound throwing mechanics, adding to his accuracy.
THROW ON RUN:
Mason does a nice job getting to the outside of the pocket as he remains focused downfield for potential targets. His throws include strong forward momentum as he fires the ball in the direction of his target.
FOOTWORK:
Works well within the backfield, with good mobility and agility. Considered a Dual Threat who can pick up 1st downs on the ground.
POISE:
Displays control of his offensive unit. Confident in his abilities as a QB, not afraid to be aggressive with his throws.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good patience in the backfield, able to sit back and wait for the play to develop. Good awareness of the space around him.
DECISION MAKING:
An intelligent QB who makes the right call based on coverage. Works quickly through his receiver options, processing the information quickly.
TOUCH:
His throws include a soft touch along with tight trajectory. Making the right adjustments to his velocity depending on the passing situation.
