Dual Threat

Kettle Falls, WA

Class of 2031

I am currently entering the 8th grade, and I will graduate in 2031. My goal is to play Quarterback at a D1 school. To achieve this goal, I am working toward short-term goals to become the best student-athlete I can be, to win championships with my friends, and to earn scholarship offers.

I am a dual-threat, lefty QB and 3-sport Athlete in Kettle Falls, WA. I play point guard on my AAU and middle school basketball teams, and I run track. I am also a 4.0 student and have held various leadership roles in my school, including ASB VP. I take pride in being a great leader and teammate, on and off the field. I believe my focus and work ethic are uncommon, and I know how to handle pressure. I have natural speed and athleticism, and I work hard to maximize my talent. Most importantly, I love football!

My dad has coached my youth football teams, and he is also the high school basketball coach in Kettle Falls. Being the son of a coach has taught me to how to see the game, how to prepare, and how to visualize success. More importantly, I have learned that my dreams come from within, not from other peoples expectations. I love to be coached, and I'm always looking for new opportunities to improve.

I have been playing tackle football since the 5th grade. In addition to QB, I play DB, and I return punts and kicks. In 5th and 6th grade, I played for a club team called Northeast United. We played in the Inland Northwest Football League (Spokane, WA). As 6th graders, our team won the league championship. Over two seasons, I had 40 total TDs (run/pass/return), 4 INT on defense, and awarded team MVP both seasons. I am now playing middle school football (7th and 8th grade combined) in Kettle Falls. As a 7th grader in 2025, I rushed for 7 TDs, threw 6 TDs, and returned 1 KO for a TD, along with 2 INT on defense. We finished 4-2 this season, and our team goal is to go undefeated this season.

I have always excelled as a runner, but I think I am developing quickly as a passer. I am continuing to work on my footwork, accuracy, speed and strength, and I really enjoy learning how to read defenses. This offseason, I attended the Brett Rypien - 509 Legends Passing Academy, and the All Northwest Football Passing Academy. The coaching I received from experts like Rypien, Jose Mohler, and Blaine Bennett have helped me reach a new level as a passer.

As a 3 sport athlete, I believe the skills and abilities I have gained in basketball and track help me on the football field. I play point guard in basketball. I would describe my self as a floor general and a playmaker. Seeing the floor, making quick decisions, footwork, scoring, passing, and ball handling are all skills that translate to football, especially the QB position. As a track athlete, I am focused on the sprints (100 PR 12.3, 200 Pr 26.0) and long jump (PR 16'7) to improve my explosiveness and demonstrate verified speed. I already hold several middle school records, and I my times are among the fastest in the state of WA for my age group.

This year is all about preparing for high school, which begins with a summer camp circuit in 2027. I intend to become the starting QB as a freshman, help lead Kettle Falls Football to new heights, and put myself on the radar as a 2031 QB recruit. I just turned 14 in August - I am growing steadily and focused on becoming bigger/faster/stronger, and extremely excited to showcase my development as a QB in the years ahead. Stay tuned for updated height, weight, and speed numbers, as well as updated highlight video from my 8th grade season!
